Notes for Mary Platt
No birth or baptism found for her birth info from the 1871 census.
But the 1851 and 1861 censuses show she was born in 1831…
But there is an image of a baptism register page that has her born on 30 April and baptised on 6th Jun 1930. Transcript by me:

_______________________________
But some of the above does not make sense.
In 1971 George gave his age as 40, giving a birth year of 1831 and
Mary was given the age of 30 giving a birth year of 1841.
If this was correct, George was a mere 15 at marriage and Mary was a bare 4.
I need to see what can be found in 1851 and 1861 in the censuses.
_______________________________
Goerge and Mary had a mere 16 children.
5 of them died before maturity, 3 before they were 2.
The remaining 13 children had children, all 58 of them. Grandchildren that is.
