30 Dec 1910: Promoted from Sub-Lt to Lt, RN.

20 Dec 1918: Promoted from Lt to Lt-Cmdr, RN.  Already a DSO.

1 Nov 1935: As Commander, placed on retired list at own request with the rank of Capt, RN
