Notes for Donald MacLean
The only documentation obtained for him specifically is his will. I have not obtained any record for his birth or death as the will totally forges the link between his children, who I have documented fully, and himself. I have also obtained a copy of the marriage register. So is is fully documented as the legitimate father of his children, which is enough as my primary interest is to document links to all relatives.
Additionally I have been in touch with a family who are related to the Macleans and have produced interesting information of their origins on a small island off the coast of Scotland. We are both interested in the descendants of the marriage between this MacLean and this Brown.
