I wonder what happened to her and led to Samuel Edward’s second marriage?
The easiest answer is to get a copy of his second marriage certificate which would say if he was a widower or divorced.
There is no death of a Violet V Keight anywhere in England and Wales on FindMyPast, though there is one for a Violet B Keight who died in 1939 in Bedford.
