In WW2 an E R Armer had been a prisoner of War, with a rank of ’Sto 1’, ’Stoker 1st Class’ so NOT her.
In 2002 she was living, as Elvis Armer, at 26, Melville Terrace, Bristol, Avon, BS3 1EU.

I’ve ordered he will to see if she had any family.

Her will duly arrived and yes, she had a son Derrick Armer and she gave his address, 26 Melville Terrace Bedminster Bristol which was the same as her house, so they had lived together.
She wrote this will on 4th May 1977 and she died and it was proved as above.
Now to find out what we can of the life of Derrick Armor.
While she had appointed both Lloyds bank and her son as executors and trustees, Administration was granted only to her son with the comment :”… Administraation of all the estate which by law belongs to and vests in the personal representatives of the said deceased was granted by the said Court on this date to the Executor DERRICK ARMER of 60 Beech Avenue Shepton Mallet Somerset BA4 5XW”
(I had not heard of this bit of law before.)
She died at The Nursing Home, School Hill, Wookey Hole, Wells Somerset. No idea how long she had been in that home.
