From “Shropshire” by John Newman, there is a MI for him on the wall of the Chapel in the grounds of Berwick House. It records his 1805 death.
From the Description of the Chapel,
D. H. S. Cranage, An Architectural Account of The Churches of Shropshire (Shrewsbury Volume), pp847-8 which says “Monuments: tablet to Thomas Jelf Powys Esq. of Berwick (d. 18 March 1805) with sarcophagus” which is curiously a few days after his burial record in Shrewsbury itself.______________
