The register itself includes that the family were “of Moreton”, Astbury being the local parish to this.  Also the date could be ’12’ not ’02’; or it could be “Jan: 2”.  Finally the mother’s first names were “Lucy Ann” not “Lucy” with a surname of “Ann”, though a second transcription on FindMYPast has this right.

On 3 Sep 2016 Michael Andrews-Reading has passed on this morsel:

“I found the 1787 wedding at St Marylebone of the Revd George Boldero of Norfolk and Christian Sheldrake; the witnesses are "T.J. Powys" and "Anna Catherine Powys" (his daughter?)”

She would have been 16 then.  I wonder if this was a part of a marketing strategy by her parents to get her married off well, which they achieved four years later.
