On a marble memorial:
“Sacred to the memory of The Reverend LITTLETON POWYS LL.B.., only brother of THOMAS first Lord Lilford, forty-seven years Rector of this Parish. He died November XX MDCCCXXV aged LXXVII. The pure benevolence of his heart and his unblemished integrity rendered his life worthy of imitation and caise his memory to be blessed. The affectionate interest which he always shewed to the happiness of the parishioners will long be remembered by them with deep feelings of attachment and regard. By the poor he will never be forgotten. His sorrowing widow and children have erected this tablet in love and veneration for his many virtues bearing as they did the real Christianity. “The ornament of a meek and quiet spirit which is in the sight of God of great price.””
