On the Vicar General's Licence of 24 May 1808, she is reported to be of age twenty-one and upwards, giving a birth of before 1787.

Olivia has a portrait of her and on the reverse is written “Mrs Anne Welbank sister of Elizabeth Trotter and daughter of Mr James Trotter of Horton, my father’s cousin. Given to Canon Trotter by Mr James Lindsay ... ...  .. with the missing pair ...”

Which Day appeared personally George Welbank and made Oath that he is of Great Winchester Street London q Bachelor of the age of twenty one years super and intendeth to intermarry with Ann Trotter of the parish of Epsom in the County of Surrey a Spinster of the age of twenty one super and that he knoweth of no lawful impediment, by Reason of any Precontract, Consanguity, Addinity, or any other lawful Cause whatsoever, to hinder the said intended Marriage, and prayed a Livence to solemnize the same in the Parish Church of Epsom aforesaid and further made Oath, that the usual Place of Abode of her the said Ann Trotter hath been in the said Parish of Epsom for upwards of four Weeks last past.

The witness George Brown was probably his senior partner in his business who was from Co Durham (or so) and NOT the George aged 8 who was to marry their daughter nearly thirty years later.
