From the above census a marriage was found ewbtween Hugh Montolien Hammersley and Henrietta Bonverie at St Peter Eaton Sq, London in 1851 and this fiarly convincingly identifies Constance Maria’s parents.

The 1891 census establishes which of the two candidates for his wife was the actual wife. And this is what Burke had put anyway.

No sign of any second marriage for her after her husband’s death.
In 1901 she was with her mother at The Ridgway, Lymington, both of them being widows and with a mere five servants to look after the pair of them plus one visitor.
