In 1939 in Darlaston, Staffs, there were two houses of interest:
One had Arthur F and mercy Eccleston in it, see above marriage, but Arthur was born on 24 Apr 1887
The other was Roland F and Ada Eccleston with Roland F born on 27 Jun 1900 which is not similar enough to this Francis’ birth.
Wait for the 1921 census?

Death not found anywhere in England. He could have been called up in the last year of WW1 but not on CWGC site.
Roland French Eccleston died in 1983 in Walsall district, still born on 27th June 1900. Don’t think it was him.
