A John T Ecclestone married Amy Gibbs in 1917 in Stafford.
In 1916 a John T Eccleston married Eliza E Chetter in Cannock; he would have been 22.
A Dorothes E Eccleston was the only child born in Staffs to Eccleston and Chetter parents, in 1919.
There were five later marriages of John T Eccleston, all a bit further away in Staffs.
In 1939 a John T Eccleston was in Wolverhampton with his wife and two children and born on 23 Sep 1896. This does not agree with his birth regisgtration.
Perhaps the 1921 census will tell us more?

A John Thomas Eccleston born in 1894 died in 1969 in Stafford district when his birth date was given as 25 Jul 1894.
In 1957 he was alive and kicking as Administrator for his sister Eliza Gladys’s affairs.
