He was in the 1881, 1891 and 1901 censuses; see his mother Notes for the details for these three.
In 1911 there is a census entry for a John H Whitehouse, bricklayer, his wife Eliza and seven children and all born in “Ogley Hay, Staffs”. For Eliza it was said that they had been married for eleven years which mens they got married around 1900. But in 1901 John H was clearly recorded as being with his mother and a Single man in the 1901 census.
There was a marriage between a John Whitehouse and an Eliza Price in 1900 in West Bromwich.
There are no entries in the 1911 census for a John H Whitehouse born in 1879±2 in Cheslyn Hay, Staffs.
