for the first 1891 marriage, Eliza did not marry Frank Homer but an Eliza born 1901 in Blackheath Staffs married a James Page and they had 3 daus and one son.  The birthplace does not sound like her.

For the second 1891 marriage, Eliza did not marry a Thomas Heath, but an Eliza born 1871 in Tipton, Staffs did marry a John Harvey and had 2 daus and 1 s.  Does not sound like her with that birth place.

For the 1893 marriage, an Eliza born in 1873 in Sedgley, Staffs did marry a Joseph Winchurch and they had 3 daus but the biirth place does not sound like hers, but no Eliza married an Arthur Baker.

For the 1894 marriage, Eliza did not marry William Hackett or a Joseph Page.

For the 1895 marriage, an Eliza born in 1871 in Cheslyn Hay, Staffs did marry a Charles Bate and they had 1 son and her brother Thomas Whitehouse born in 1861 in Cheslyn Hay with her.  This is swimmingly good apart from the brother Thomas who I have not found before let alone born in 1861; might he have been an uncle or cousin of Eliza’s?  I’ll check up on him later, though he was still with them and of the same birth date in 1911.  No marriage was found of an Eliza to any Albert Phillips.

For the 1896 marriage, no marriage was found with William Steadman though there was an Eliza born 1870 in Stone, Staffs who married an Albert Thomas and they had 3 s. but that birth place does not sound like this Eliza.

For the first 1900 marriage, no marriage could be found with any Johnson nor any Relford.

For the second 1900 marriage, no Eliza Edwards born in Cheslyn Hay could be found nor and Eliza Ford.

So she married Charles bate.

In 1911 they were at 95 Station St, Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire but their son had died and Eliza sais that they had only had the one child:

I can’t find any death index for her, though there is a probate for an Eliza Bate in 1937; but the executor was  Robert henry bate which does not quite make sense.
