There is a Dorothy A Borwick who married in Halifax, Yorks in 1940, when she would have been 24.  Might this have been her?  Only fathomable if I get the marriage cert.
____________________

In the will of her cousin Audrey Nessie Robinson, there is mentioned Hon Mrs Dorothy P Bergne of 16 Wood Lane Falmouth Cornwall.  I think this has to be this Dorothy.

But I can find no marriage to any Bergne.

BUT there is a marriage between Phyllis D Borwick and John A’C Bergne in Hampstead in Q3 of 1963.

As ‘P D Borwick’ she has four Gazette entries and one Mentioned in Despatches in the Royal Air Force where she was a Section Leader from 1941 to 1954.

She was variously Known as Dorothy, Phyllis, Dorothy Phyllis and Phyllis Dorothy.

______________________

In her will she named herself as Phyllis Dorothy which she had adopted by the time of the second world war.  So I have used this for this analysis of her will.

The Grant added to the probate index the information that her estate was £559,078 and that she was of Tregolls Nursing Home, Tregolls Road, Truro, Cornwall  TR1 1XQ which is presumably where she died.

In her will dated 16th December 2002 she appointed the following as her executors and trustees:

1. Her brother James Hugh Myles Borwick,
2. Her step-daughter Felicity Susan Jackson,
3. Her solicitor Kenneth Anthony O’Connor

She listed in her will:
1. }
2. }  The above three executors
3. }
4. the children of Giles Rooke of St Stephen’s Cottage, Bridge, Near Canterbury, stating that their inheritance from her was derived from her inheritance from Audrey Nessie Robinson, (see below for an explanation of this.)
5. The Hon Mrs Amanda Parry, her god-daughter,
6. Her god-daughter Sandra Berry
7. Paul Bergne in appreciation of his kindness, and his wife Susanne Bergne
8. Mrs Joan Hazelton,
9. Mrs Adland of Falmouth for her help and kindness over the the last years,

And she listed the nine beneficiaries of the residue of her estate:
10. Angela Jane Borwick,
11. Hon Mary Anne Borwick
12. Mrs Diana Newman
13. The above Mrs Amanda Parry
14. Stanley R Ulyate,
15. Mrs Sandra Berry,
16. Raymond Ulyate
17. Mrs Felicity Susan Jackson
18. Mrs Caroline Elizabeth Glover

Notes on the 18 people mentioned in her will:

First the people in her will makes is quite clear that she was the daughter of Robert Borwick and Irene Phyllis née Patterson, formerly Borwick and latterly Rooke.  As such she was the daughter of the third baron Borwick and probably was herself ’The Hon’ and her brother James was the fourth baron, though dspm.

1. Her brother James was already deceased by the time she had died.
2. Her step-daughter Felicity Susan Jackson was presumably née Bergne and her marriage is:
Felicity S A Bergne and Peter B Jackson married in Q2 of 1958 in Surrey S.W. district.
   And her birth is:
Felicty S.A. Bergne b. Q1 of 1930 in Wandsworth district, mother’s maiden name = Murray
But the marriage of Bergne and Murray cannot be found on FindMyPast.
Though a marriage in South Africe is on FamilySearch, with certificate and
giving her mother as Priscilla March Murray.
Felicity had a younger sister Caroline but she is not in Phyllis Dorothy’s will.
3. Not relevant to genealogy.
4. Phyllis Dorothy’ parents divorced after seven years.  Her mother soon re-married, though I
have been unable to find any marriage records of such, Charles Eustace Rooke; other evidence
   confirms this marriage.
Her mother, then Irene Phyllis Rooke, died precisely at St Stephens Cottage Bridge nr Canterbury
in 1969.  This house is exactly where Giles Rooke was living in 2003 when she, Dorothy, wrote
   this will.
Giles Rooke has turned out to be Giles Hugh Rooke QC and was her maternal half-sibling; it is
odd that she did not mention this.  Phyllis Dorothy Bergne’s mother appointed her son
Giles Hugh Rooke as her executor and made it explicit that he was her son.
So Giles’ children were her, Phyllis Dorothy’s, niece and nephews.
Giles H Rooke is recorded on the electoral rolls at St Stephens Cottage, Town Hill, Canterbury,
Kent CT4 5AH from 2002 to 2015 and this was with Anne Rooke and George Rooke.  Anne was his
wife and George their youngest surviving son.
Giles Hugh died in 2017 and his gravestone (thanks, Billion Graves) shows him to have been
   born on 28.X.1930 and died on 27 11 2017.
Nearby graves to Giles Hugh’s are those of Irene Phyllis Rooke, her and his mother as above,
and  Charles Quintus James Rooke, the youngest son of Giles Hugh and Anne and who died at the
   tender age of 7.
Giles Hugh Rooke was born in 1930 and in 1968 married Anne Bernadette Seymour Perrett in
Bridge district, Kent. They had five children:
     Year   Forenames                      District
1969   Alexander John Giles           Canterbury, Kent
1970   Nicholas Anthony Hugh          Canterbury, Kent
1972   Elizabeth Irene Ermyntrude     Canterbury, Kent
1979   George Thomas H                Canterbury, Kent
1989   Charles Quintus James          Canterbury, Kent    He died in 1997.
I think we are getting close to the intended beneficiaries, which have to be the first four
   of the above list.
Audrey Nessie Robinson was her aunt, being the sister of Irene Phyllis Rooke, and thus the
gt-aunt of Giles Hugh Rooke’s children.  Audrey had divided the residue of her estate between
her ten nephews and nieces, so we may deduce that the residue of Audrey’s estate was £100,000.
5. There is no problem in the rest of her recipients, either they are known to be relatives or they are not known, None has started a problem in my mind at all like the problem of the Rooke relations - and Brown descendants.
