Neither marriage nor any death have been found, even when extended to all of FindMyPast’s ‘World’.

However in her mother’s will her mother expressly made ‘my son-in-law David John Middleton Arnold’ an executor, though he did not attend the probate office.  The will also included two daughters, first Nine Vivian Arnold, ineluctably married to the aforesaid son-in-law, and second Virginia Lux Hemmings.  So I think I am on to the home straight for working out the descendants of her mother.

To confirm this identification as the daughter of Lavender Vivian Alnod Akroyd:

(a) The marriage can be found of ‘Virginia L Akroyd’ with Paul G Hemmings,
(b) Her mother’s will includes her daughter ‘Virginia L Hemmings’
(c) Her mother also names in her will her two grandchildren Adrian Bayly Hemmings and Julia Lux Hemmings.

I am going to assume that this identification is correct and am thus entering up her husband and these two children.
