Notes for Sarah Blakemore
No baptism record found on FindMyPast.
No entry found for her father George in the 1841 census in Shropshire. So her mother not identified.
In 1841 there was a Sarah Blakemore working as a family servant on a farm in Shifnal, Shropshire but said to be born in that County, which is contrary to all subsequent censuses and probably not her.

Not yet found in 1851, just after their marriage. There is a William and Sarah Turner in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire but both reported in this entry that they were born in Herefordshire, so that does not look like them.

In 1861 William was not at home but Sarah was there with their then five children at 2, Railway Street, St Peter, Walsall, Staffordshire:

Note that in the 1881 census - see her son Isaiah’s Misc Notes - she gave her age as 55 which was 4 years older that all years when her husband had been alive. I wonder if she had deliberately misled him as to her age to make herself seem younger. Again her marriage certificate might give more information, as well as her father’s name.
NB: marriage register entry found on FindMyPast - see marriage Notes.

In addition to Isaiah, Amelia and Clara are on the new GRO data base with Blakemore as their mother’s maiden name:
Name: Mother's Maiden Surname:
TURNER, AMELIA BLAKEMORE
GRO Reference: 1857 M Quarter in WOLVERHAMPTON Volume 06B Page 411
TURNER, CLARA BLAKEMORE
GRO Reference: 1859 S Quarter in WALSALL Volume 06B Page 522
But Levi and Martha cannot be found on this index, though Levi was registered in Atcham, Shropshire in Q3 of 1851 and Martha was registered in Wolverhampton in Q4 of 1854. FindMyPast has both the latter two with the Blakemore maiden name. QED!

Her death cannot be identified. She is not to be found in the 1891 census and there are 2 deaths in Staffs in that decade and 52 in the whole country. She could have gone to be with a son or daughter anywhere in the country.
