I George Bakewell Dewhurst of Oughtrington Park in the County of Chester hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament  I appoint my brother John Dalby Dewhurst my brother in law James Cosmo Melvill and my sone George Lillington and Harry (herinafter called “ my trustees”) to be Executors and trustees of this my will and I appoint my dear Wife during her life and after her death my trustees to be the guardian and guardians of my infant children  I give to my said wife the sum of one thousand pounds to be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my death  I give all

648  thousand five hundred poiunds and I declare that my trustees may in their absolute discretion and notwithstanding the … hereinbefore decined … as an investment my forty shares in the London Assurance Corporation  In witness in … I the said George Bakewell Dewhurst have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this and the four [sic] preceeding sheet of paper set my hand this minth day of April one thousand eight hundred and ninety one - G B Dewhurst - Signed by the said … George bakewell Dewhurst and ffor his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses  Edwin Thomas Crawlet Oughtkington Lymm Butler - Hannah Boffey  Oughington Lymm  Ladys Maid
