In the 1911 census he was entered as 9 years old when he was definitely 11. I am surprised at this error and cannot explain it.

In 1919 an Arthur B Gosling joined the National Union of Railwaymen in Ipswich, Suffolk.

In 1949, when he would have been 52, an Arthur B Gosling married Irene M Smith in Norwich. There are 5 Arthur B Goslings born between 1890 and 1930 of which one was born in Norwich and is a more likely candidate for this marriage.

No electoral rolls can be found for him to see if anyone was sharing his domain.

Absolutely no sign of him in the 1939 Register.
