It certainly looks as if she married a local boy. But the 1901 and 1911 censuses show he was Reginald Hampton Whiteman Wilkinson, born in Islington, Mx in 1882/3 and in 1911 a clay merchant in Newton Abbot.
This marriage is confirmed particularly by the CWGC details for the memorial of their son Reginald Denis where he is explicitly said to be the son of Reginald Hampton Whiteway-Wilkinson and Margaret Emily Whiteway-Wilkinson, of Newton Abbot, Devon.
