The above birth date does not correspond with either her birth index or the 1901 and 1911 censuses which all have her born in 1892/3. Might she have been trying to conceal that she was six hears older than her husband?
At marriage in Feb 1927 she said she was 29 and thus born in 1996.
I could be persuaded that she was indeed born in 1892, when she was registered, and on 7th Jun which is her birthday given in the 1939 Register. This birth date of 7 Jun 1892 tied up with registration in the following quarter, anything from Jul to Spt after her birth in Jun. So that is the reasoning for entering this as her birth date. A birth certificate would provide chapter and verse, of course.
