CP and K-R say she was a kinswoman of queen Adelicia de Louvain, widow of Henry I. CP refers to G Andrews Moriarty, Genealogy magazine, 1944, Vol 9, pp. 424-6. Queen Adlicia gave Melisende, cognata mea, part of Stanton, Oxon and this then passed down through Millicent's descendants.
