Notes for Mabel Marmion
CP in the Mortimer article, IX< 258, says only that Mabel was the daughter of Robert Marmion and, in a footnote, that she had lands in Sussex as her marriage portion.  So far this does not identify her as the daughter of the Robert who married Melisend.  Carol Mc Donald has alternatively identified her as the daughter of the Robert who married Maud Beauchamp.  This needs further research.
