Her (probable) birth entry is:
Mary Shepherd, b. 1701-3-21, parents Andrew and Jane of Lewes and Chichester MM.
Looks fairly plausible, except that she then gave birth to her daughter Mary at the then relatively late age of 40.

Her death record is:
Mary Steele, d. 1755-1-29, age 53 1/2, of Parish of ....... Chichester, Surrey, wife of Thomas; in Lewes and Chichester MM.
This, allowing for the quaker dating system, agrees well with her possible birth record on 1701-3-31, which was in 1702, of course. On this basis, I’ll enter her parents as Andrew and Jane.
