The name Eure comes from the manor of Iver, Bucks which manor had been granted to his grandfather Robert FitzRoger - CP on EURE.
Foster in his additional pedigrees in his Yorks visitation of 1584-5 and 1612, shows his wife to be an unknown daughter of Roger bertram of Mitford.
