Notes for Alice de Vere
m. John, Constable of Chester.
There is some confusion with this lady. CP thinks she was almost certainly the daughter of Alice de Vere's second husband Roger Fitz Richard, but Paul Reed said, 20.2.1999 on soc.gen.med, she was daughter of Alice de Vere's first husband, the second Robert de Essex. But Keats-Rohan puts her clearly as the daughter of "Roger of Warkworth".
