In 1851 she and her sister Gertrude were at school in St Peter’s Broadstairs, Isle of Thanet, Kent, both born in London, Mx.

Her death is on 1837 OnLine for Jul to Sep 1923, ref Christchurch 2b 661; she is down as 85 at death.
And on the certificate she died at 2 Gordon Road, Christchurch, Bournemouth, her daughter Ethel Mary was in attendance at her death and lived there. She was 85, the widow of William Cunliffe Powys a Captain in H M Army and died of a cerebral haemorrhage.

She and her surviving children are in the Canadian 1891 census but with their surnames indexed as Rowys.
In 1901, thanks to “automated genealogy” for their transcriptions of the 1901 census, she, aged 63, and her daughter Eleanor, aged 32, were at Fredericton sub-district, Kings quarter, York district, New Brunswick province. They said they immigrated into Canada in 1877. Constance was ‘Retired’, Eleanor had no occupation.
