In his will, dated 26th October 1538, he lists:

His son Edward [all 3 sons by his second wife Mary Sandys],
His daughter Bryget,
His daughter Margaret,
His daughter Mary [by Mary Carew, m. ... Hawkins],
His daughter Anne [by Mary Carew m. Sir Edward Capel],
His daughter Jane [by Mary Carew],
Mary his wife,
Nicholas his son [by Mary Carew].
Was he the second son of Sir John Pelham of Laughton, Crowhurst. Burghershe and Bevylham? Test Vet, pp. 280-1 (Not according to the Sussex visitation of 1634, though he may have been grandson.)
And is it his will that is on pp. 447-8 of the same volume, in which that Wm Pelham refers to this father Sir John? NO his is on p. 682.
