I wonder if this is her death, the only Jean Hallifax death from 1984 to 2006:

But from Burke’s LG of Scotland, this is not the right birth date so is very probably the wrong person.
A probate entry found for the above death but the second name is different to that on her marriage index.
No other death for a Jean Hallifax in the probate indices.

The pain about this information is that no births whatever can be found for any Murray from 1925 to 1945 with a mother’s maiden name of Dolman. In view of her father’s career in the army, she may have been born abroad. Or in Scotland, which is where her overseas birth entry gravitated to.

TFPL, March 2017: Burke in LG of Scotland 2001, p. 1091, gives her parents as Major James Murray of Boltwood House Chiddingly, Sussex (1902-1962) and Eileen Marie Dolman (d. 24 Feb 1961) and gave them a sole child, and heir, Jean Rose-Marie who was born on 3 Nov 1929 and, around 2001, was living at 12 Putman Place, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1BZ (with her son Roderick) and shows her to have had only two children, Rosalind Eileen Margaret and Roderick James, which number is confirmed by Cynthia Samuel née Hallifax.
This is confirmed by this entry in the Scots People Birth Register:

She cannot be identified in the 1939 register, but she may have been abroad or in Scotland.
