Notes for Thomas Bonham
Guardian of John Barrington and married him to his dau. Elizabeth Bonham - according to the Barrington Family History.
Incredibly in the 1634 Essex visitation, neither Elizabeth nor her brother Walter, to whom Eliz was reported by G A Lowndes to be heir, are mentioned. Instead there are two sons William, who m. Frances Tay and had issue, and John who dsp. The odd thing in the 1634 Essex visitation is the addition to the Bonham arms of "a crescent for difference".
