Burke’s Peerage reports:
“Charles John Somerset; b 15 April 1955; educ Marlborough
and Keble Coll Oxford (BA, PhD); m 1st 1979 (divorce 1991) Helen Mogilansky; m 2nd 1993 Nicoletta Isar and by his 1st w has:
Nicholas Walter; b 1981
Nadezhda Caroline; b 1980
Persephone; b 1987”
This resolves the problem above apart from a modest difference in the spelling of his bride’s surname.
I had missed his second marriage so am adding that in, if I can find the index record.

No index or record can be found in England. Ancestry has produced some suggestions that there may be some children born in the USA, but the records do not indicate the parents so are inadequate.
However once the correct spelling of his wife’s surname was found, from the marriage certificate, the first two children were speedily found with their births in Sweden:

The apparent second and third children are the effect of giving them a double barelled surname of Mogiljansky-Lock.
No record can be found for the birth of any persephone Lock or Mogiljansky-Lock, not even on FindMYPast’s ‘World’ records.
However Ancestry does show a Persephone who has a birth date that agrees with Burke’s 1987, on the Scots electoral roll for 2007:

Residence Place: Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland

Later: The will of her grandfather has arrived and in it he explicity refers to her as such and left her some bequests. So she must be related and the daughter of Charles J Somerset Lock. So she is being added with whatever firm information I can find.
