Found from ‘a Newspaper’ on FindAGrave:
“McGEE, Elsie Kathleen Drummond—-On Monday, May 14, 1945, Elsie Kathleen Drummond, beloved wife of Robert A McGee, 18 Bingham Ave, Toronto (daughter of the late Maj-Gen. James H Drummond, Bombay Staff Corps). Resting at the William Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Rd. Funeral service at St Aidan’s Anglican church. Queen and Silverbirch Aves., on Wednesday at 2.30 pm. Interment at St John’s Cemetery, Norway.”
The above sounds very genuine. It will only be possible to obtain clear verification when the Canadian indices are published, currently, in 2022, unobtainable.
A final issue is whether she had any children. If she had, they would probably be included on the above notice. I conclude that she ‘probably dsp’.
