Burke’s Peerage says she was born in 1947. The above record is complicated by a record for the birth of a brother in the same year but in Berlin. I am not convinced that this GRO index is right but I am reluctant to spend the money on a birth certificate which will make no difference to the pursuit of chasing Powys descendants.

BP’s entry for her: “Laura Cecilia Mary; b 17 Nov 1947; m 22 Aug 1969
Capt Kenneth Andres Courtenay, RN, of Henstridge, Somerset,
est s of H A Courtenay, of Butlers Manor, Northall, Beds,
and has:
“1g Edward Michael Andres; b 23 Aug 1970
“1g Tamsin Mary Andres; b 22 July 1972”

The above account of her family in BP has confirmation in entries for their marriage and the birth of their daughter. But no entry at all can be found for the birth of their son Edward on FindMyPast, nor on Ancestry nor on FreeBMD. The problem may have been that his father was a Captain in the RN and could thus have been stationed anywhere in the world.
I can insert his with the clear notice of “No public records found for his birth”
