In 1939 she was head of a household of 12 people but her husband was away (at sea I presume) and she had no children but did have a child’s nurse, probably for the impending birth of her first child at Saint Clairs Farm Droxford, Disgoed , Droxford, Droxford R.D., Hampshire. Possibly much of the rest were evauees? or, if this was a farm, farm workers?
