She married Geo R Simey in 1960 and had these four children:

It looks strongly as if her and her husband split up. In 1978 he married a Sheila E Duller and in 2002 he married Anne Jenkins. But no second marriage can be found either for Penelope I Simey or for Penelope I Pares. Nor is there any ‘Penelope I’ <any surname> that stands out in subsequent marriages or deaths. I simply cannot find any further information for her after the birth of her son in 1971.
I have not investigated her husband’s second and third wives any further as their children would not have been of Powys descent.

In her mother’s will she listed her four sons in law, probably in the order of the birth of their wives, her daughters. The first son-in-law, Peter Furler, might have been the husband of this Penelope. I shall be investigating this.
This cracked the problem. FindMyPast had indexed her as Penelope L Simey in their transcript of the marriage indexes. Using ‘I’ in searches for her second marriage resulted in no results, even though I had set the searches to include name variants.
Anyhow her second marriage has now been found and entered.

She must still be alive - no death found. (And no will to detail her surviving family.)

However in 2007 her father named her as Penelope Iris Gregory. This was correct and that third marriage had been in October 1995, six years after the death of her second husband. She must still be alive.
And I fear that she has buried a third husband as FindMyPast reports Donald Stuart Airlie Gregory died in Dawlish Devon in 2007,
