There are about thirty Mary A Hunters who married from around 1940 onwards. So marriage not identifiable.

Her aunt left her a legacy and named her as Mary McDermot née Hunter. But no marriage with a McDermot in England & Wales can be found.
But one was found in the Lebanon, with a ‘Brian C MacDermot’ around 1946-50.
She was alive in 2003 when her husband died as she administered his will.
No probate found from 1996 to 2021 for a Mary Arden MacDermot.
But her death is to be found on FindMypast though not on the GRO as they have not got that far.

The birth certificate for Alan David, first born has arrived on 13th Jan 2022. It shows that Alan’s mother was Mary Arden MacDermot née Hunter. This is as anticipated. By the infamous principle of induction, now that the first and the last children are clearly identified as of Brian Charles and Mary Arden, née Hunter, MacDermot, all the intervening children must be the same.
