In his will dated 14th February 1963 plus five codicils dated 12th November 1967, 24th September 1971, 22nd January 1973, 2nd March 1979 and 9th November 1980, he appointed as executors his two daughters Mrs Julia Grace Harwood of St Catherines Cottage, Catherington, Portsmouth, Hants, Mrs Anne Patricia O’Farrell of 29 Orinoco Street Pymble New South Wales, Australia and Gerald William Powlett Wilson [husband of his step-daughter Ursula Mary Wilson] of Manfield House, Manfield, Darlington, County Durham.
He listed:
1. The above daughters and his step-daughter’s husband,
