25th Nov 2021: Her birth certificate has arrived and indeed she is, as Burke tells, the child of Richard Edward Knight and Eileen Alice, née Still, Thesiger. It will be interesting to see what the new online GRO index says when they get round to publishing 1956 births (currently they have only got to 1935):

Frances has appeared as an niece and beneficiary of this Richard’s sister Patience.

In 2010 her name, Frances G Thesiger, appears on the electoral roll for a house in Winchester, Hants.
There is no marriage of a Francis Thesiger up to 2005 when the public indexation of marriages ceased.
In 2021 she would be 65 and have many years left. I have searched the online GRO index for deaths of a Frances Thesiger from 1984 to 2019 and, as expected, none found.
