Elizabeth Bradshaw Fletcher died on 5 June 2010 from her probate and the death registration was, giving her birth year:

Name:                             Year of Birth:
FLETCHER, ELIZABETH BRADSHAW      1928
GRO Reference:  DOR  Q2/2010 in KENT  (5641N)  Reg 1N008  Entry Number 503319220

There was an Elizabeth Blaxland born in Q4 of 1927 in Edmonton, Middlesex to Thomas Blackland and Margaret E Hunter who had married in Q2 of 1924 in Aysgarth, Yorks.  But no Bradshaw in Elizabeth’s name.

And I still cannot work out the connection to Charles Nigel Villiers.

His will has been ordered to see if he has broken the family habit.
______________________

His will was dated 12th of July 1987 and a codicil on the 9th April 1991 and he appointed as executors his son Rodney Stapylton Fletcher and his step-son Charles Nigel Villiers.  He died at (or from) Bodsham Lodge, Bodsham, Ashford, Kent  TN25 5JQ.  His estate had a net value of £920,357.

In his will he listed:

1, His late wife Elizabeth
2. Sarah Villiers,
3. Frances Campbell Harland
4. Robert John MacDonald Watt
5. His children:
    (a) Rodney Stapylton Fletcher,
    (b) Sally Stapylton Macleay,
    (c) Jennifer Stapylton Green
6. His last wife Elizabeth Bradshaw Fletcher

There is a severe problem with all this.  If his first wife died then how could Betty Horsford be that first wife?

Another problem is that I had NOT picked up that he had a son Rodney Stapylton Fletcher.  Fortunately this was because his mother’s maiden name had been stored as Housfield, not the Horsfield of her marriage and of her two daughters.

Nor do I know anything about a stepson Charles Nigel Villiers.

I am extremely doubtful about this marriage as Wyndham refers to his wife Elizabeth’s grave, so Betty could not have gone on to a second marriage, which she did.

I await Betty’s will to see who she things she had as children.
