In 1934 he was on a boat for Gibraltar (final destination Brisbane) and of Drayton House, Lowick which he must have inherited in 1921 after the death of his brother Lionel Charles.
He said he was 33 and retired and he appears to have had with him one Beatrix of Kettering, aged 24.
