“I Frederick Lord Chelmsford do solemnly and sincerely declare that my son Edward Peirson Thesiger was born in Byranston Square in the County of Middlesex on the nineteenth day of December One thousand eight hundred and forty two and that after due enquiry no Entry of his birth has been found on the Books of the Registrar General.
“Declared before me at Westminster Chelmsford
: this 15th day of February 1862
