There is a reservation about this death: At the same time as this death registration there was a probate issued for a John Sharp of 1 Cross Street, Halton, Leeds with Mary sharp, widow and John Sharp, chauffeur, as his executors.  This is clearly a different family and I just wonder if the death registered in Hunslet might have been this John Sharp of Halton?

This reservation has to be added to the fact that the death was registered with a birth date of 1865.  And there was a birth of another John Sharp in Hunslet district in 1865 but with a mother’s maiden name of Taylor.

Examining things again there is a death at Bramley in Q2 of 1913 for a John Sharp who was born in 1863.  In the 11901 census he was living in Bramley so he could easily have moved there again.  Or the informant could have been living in Bramley and preferred to use that district for registration.

It seems like: either I order the 1913 registration, or I wait until the 1921 census is out.
