His birth index in not found.
But another Edward Henry wasa definitely borh in 1844, in the North and confuses things; this second one’s mother was a jackson.

To try and sort out his later records, here are his census records:
In 1851 census he was aged seven and born in Wimbledon Surrey and with his widowed father and three sisters.
In 1861 census he was seventeen, and born in Wimbledon, Surrey and with his father, his second wife, his full brothers Alexander W, 24, and Frederick W, 14.
In 1871 and subsequent he could not be found.

The answer is that he had gone to the USA and then to Canada where he died in 1876. See his Will Notes.
