In the 1851 census he was a barrister and master of the court of common pleas, a widower with three daus and two sons.

When I started doing her branch I had a look round to see if anyone else had made public their research on Mary France’s line as this would be a double check for any errors and problems on my part. Fortunately there was a profusely documented Family Tree on Ancestry which have been able to use for this purpose. This enables me to both find good public reference documents and check that I have them right when any problem arises.
The Muggleston Tree has these for Mary Frances’ children:

Atherton A (1854-1858) Bapt found. <———- born when ????? Dodgy bapt transcript, it is 1834.

Her father did not sign: he had died three mnths earlier. But two of her brotheres signed: Henry who conducted the ceremony and William her eldest brother and who probably gave her away.
I wonder who the Robert Mayne was who was the last witness? Frances’ paternal grandmother was a Mayne and Robert might have been a member of that family and thus a relation.
