Her birth is known only by hearsay but she is said to have been born in Canada on 22 Feb 1945. Supporting evidence is being actively sought - I’ve ordered their marriage certificate as that will give her and her husband’s fathers and ages.
Later: she was 26 at marriage on 3 April 1971 and her father was Lionel Penrose, a professor. That makes her born in 1944/5.
There is only the one Penrose to Hodgson marriage in England and Wales from 1950 to 1990, and it is hers.
But these births, particularly the two in 1973, ask for further explanation:
