Her father was James McKee Hannah of Domaine de Fontvielle, Aix-en-Provence, France. Their marriage cannot be found in the British Isles; so she and John Arden probably married in France. No consulate marriages either.

In 2003 her address in Burke was Fillongley Hall so she may have spent some of her married life in England.
