21 July 1860 This day upon Petition Probate of the last Will and testament of Richard Cornelius Cartwright deceased was granted to Elizabeth Cartwright the Executrix in the said will named - leave being reserved to Frederick Webster the Executor in the said will named to come in and prove. Testator died 25 December 1859 Goods sworn at £800 Probate dated the same day as granted.

It sounds from his will that he and his wife Elizabeth had no children. Where his nephew Richard William Cartwright came from I do not know.
Later: Discovered that Richard William was the son of Thomas and Susan, née Brown, Cartwright and was born in Tasmania on 18 December 1844.
