No entry found on the 1881, when he was 18, or 1891, 28 years, censuses.

The will of his sister Violet Alice led to the discovery of his son Walter Valentine Churchill Longman as her executor. And the 1911 census had Walter in it, in Malta, and giving a birth place of Breslau, the same as Hubert’s death place in 1900. So Walter must be his son. But no information is available on Hubert’s wife or partner, the mother of Walter. Very thin, but I’m happy to go with Walter as a descendant.
