Notes for Isabella (Yarrow)
The informant on James Yarrow’s death certificate was Isabella Yarrow, present at the death and living at the same residence. I have concluded that she was his wife, though there is the possibility that Isabella was a daughter.
No record found (in 5-year steps) of her death up to 1920. Might she have (re-)married?

“I just came across your update on Cornelius Mallon/Margaret Yarrow. You were wondering whether Margaret's father , James, was married to Isabella, who registered his death in 1866. I'm not sure if she was his wife, but there is a reasonable chance. He did have a daughter known as Belle - born 1855 - who emigrated to the US in 1872 and married a James McLaughlin, but she would have been a child in 1866 so unlikely to be registering his death. So on that basis, Isabella may have been his wife.”
Sounds good to me. Thanks, David.
