The Frances and Charles Dobbing staying with them as niece and nephew were in 1841 in Sunderland with their mother and with Edward Ferranf then aged 20 and probably the son of this Edward and his wife.

Believing that these Dobbings were related, then the question is how, was this through this Edward or his wife isabella?

Brenda Graham has also found 7. Margaret Ann as a daughter of Edward Ferrand but as yet I cannot locate any baptism record for her.  But Brenda can’t find her baptism either and has deduced her birth date and parentage from other records.

Mar 2017, TFPL: Edward’s baptism has been found on the Durham and Northumberland database so he has been added to this database.

And Margaret can be added as she was with her parents in 1841 and gave Stockton in 1823 fairly consistently as her place and time of birth in the censuses.  Armarriage she was down as margaret Ann.
